What is Swing Dance Adelaide?

Swing Dance Adelaide (Swing and Blues Dancing in Adelaide) is a registered not-for-profit organisation in South Australia. Our mission is to work with the community to build and sustain a thriving swing dance scene in Adelaide, while honouring and celebrating the African American origins of swing and jazz.

STRUCTURE

Swing Dance Adelaide (SDA) is a membership organisation that anyone can join. When you become an SDA Member you’ll be able to vote at our Annual General Meetings and receive email updates from the SDA committee.

Eight SDA Members make up the SDA Committee, which determines the activities of the organisation every year, and assigns sub-committees to carry-out those activities. Sub-committees can include anyone, including SDA members.

The SDA Committee is voted on and appointed by SDA members at the Annual General Meetings.
