Dance in Adelaide
As dancers in Adelaide, we meet on the lands of the Kaurna people, the traditional owners of the Adelaide region, and respect their spiritual relationship to their country. We also acknowledge that jazz and blues music and dance has roots in the experience and culture of African American people, and pay our respects to the musicians and dancers who came before us, to their expression, and their art. Ours is a safe, inclusive space, that opposes racism.

Adelaide boasts a vibrant swing dance scene, made up of people from all walks of life. With an underlying ethos of inclusivity, openness and joy through the celebration of music and dance, Adelaideans can participate in a wide variety dance classes, performances, parties and social gatherings per week. Come dance with us!

These cats ensure there are enough parties going on to satisfy our incredible appetite for social dancing, hosting a variety of events from intimate balboa soirees to large-scale swingin’ slam-downs.
AUSDC
The AUSDC offering weekly classes of a mix of swing styles to the curious minds at the Adelaide Uni. They also host movie nights, bar crawls and other special events!
Swing Out Adelaide
This powerhouse school offers weekly classes of Lindy Hop, Balboa and Vernacular Jazz, & hosts the weekly Stomp social. They also teach Charleston, Shag and Tap & bring you special Swingin’ Sundays.
